Solicit Potential Donors

Don't be shy about approaching friends and colleagues in support of your ride.

People appreciate the opportunity to sponsor their friends and family for a worthy cause. We can assist as you seek support from sponsors by providing materials, information, and office support. You will most likely find all the information you need on this site. However, if you need assistance or have questions, please call Alysia Lee, Assistant Development Director, at 212-348-2600.

Because Harlem Academy is an independent school rather than a public or charter school, all funds must come from charitable foundations, corporations, and individuals, with tuition payments from student’s families making up the rest. Every donation makes a difference, and our streamlined administration ensures donations make a difference in the classroom. Please share the Harlem Academy story with your sponsors.

A sponsor letter is available for your use with potential sponsors. Ask if his/her company has a matching gift program and, if so, please forward us sufficient information so we can follow up. Donation forms are also included for your use.

Riders and sponsors can donate online by credit card through Active.com by clicking here. You can enlist your own ride sponsors using Active.com's online tools.
